Wealth Creation
The primary product of the space age is likely to be wealth creation and the dominant paradigm in space could become an economic one.

We investigate how best to achieve wealth creation for our partners. Wealth creation refers to the combined use of engineering, technology and human skills to maximize the creation, production, and delivery of goods and services that are needed to raise the standard of living, increase employment, progress education and grow the economy.
We specialize on commercial sector engagement for wealth creation.
- Role and structure of the commercial space sector.
- Development of the commercial space sector in telecommunications, space launch, remote sensing, and satellite positioning and navigation services.
- Public-Private-Partnerships.
- Dynamics of global space business.
- Economic and societal impacts of space programs and projects.
We explore how economics and commerce of the space domain affect strategy and policy development. What are the costs and benefits for evaluating political and technical approaches to address security, civil and commercial space challenges? Both opportunity cost and comparative advantage will drive political and strategic decisions in the space sectors.
We assess the role of government in advancing space commerce and the role of economics as a driver for innovation and development in the space sectors. Space commerce is characterized by a multinational and global environment. We look at the role that space plays in the national and global economy, both directly and indirectly – what is the nature of global space business and commerce, and how does this relate to strategic space advantages and wealth creation for spacefaring states?
We investigate how the space sectors are characterized by a multipolar and global environment with a much broader and more diverse set of actors. As power is diffused among these actors, the nature of power in space will begin to change. How will these changes affect space programs and projects?
We work to develop space commerce and wealth creation through space-enabled dissemination of information and in emerging areas of operational responsive space, small satellite development and operations, reusable space launch and space tourism, space based solar power, space based zero-gravity manufacturing research, propellant depots and point-to-point sub-orbital travel.
We forecast developments and trends. This will likely include technological advancements that lower the economic barrier to entry for potential spacefaring actors and strategic competition in space.
